Keira Knightley Returns in Black Doves Season 2 Trailer Ahead of November Launch

Keira Knightley is back as Helen Webb in the first trailer for Black Doves Season 2.
Netflix has released the preview ahead of the new season. All six hour-long episodes will stream on 5 November, according to Variety.
Knightley plays Helen Webb, a spy living under cover as a politician's wife, as listed by Netflix. The show starts with Helen learning her lover has been murdered. She is then joined by an old assassin friend on a search for truth and vengeance, Netflix says in its series description.
Season 2 picks up that double life. Helen continues passing her nation's secrets to the covert organisation known as the Black Doves, according to Netflix. It remains a spy action thriller set in London during the Christmas season.
The drop is all at once. Viewers will get the full six-episode run on day one, rather than week to week.
The returning cast around Knightley is large. Season 2 features Ben Whishaw, Sarah Lancashire, Andrew Buchan, Kathryn Hunter, Ella Lily Hyland, Gabrielle Creevy, Agnes O'Casey, Ambika Mod, Babou Ceesay, Sam Riley, Neve Campbell, Sylvia Hoeks, Goran Kostic and Samuel Barnett, Variety reports.
Behind the camera, the series was created and written by Joe Barton, who also executive produces. Knightley executive produces alongside Jane Featherstone for Sister and Chris Fry. Julian Farino and Kieron Hawkes direct Season 2, with Callum Devrell-Cameron producing.
Netflix lists Black Doves as rated TV-MA, meaning it is intended for mature audiences. Production on the Knightley-led second season took place in London. Fans can watch the official trailer on Netflix's YouTube channel.
For viewers, this means a short wait for a complete story. Six hours. One release day. Christmas in London, with Helen caught between her marriage, her handlers and the Black Doves.
