Ozzy Osbourne's farewell concert is coming to cinemas worldwide for a limited run from 28 October.

The film is titled Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning, and its first trailer has premiered ahead of the release, Rolling Stone reported. Mercury Studios announced the concert film for global cinema release.

The show it captures took place in Birmingham, England, in July 2025. Osbourne played a solo set followed by a Black Sabbath reunion, performing while seated in a throne. He died 17 days after the concert.

The trailer opens with his wife Sharon Osbourne in voiceover. She says he was told he probably would not make it through the show. His answer was short. “No, I’m doing it.”

Another moment shows the Birmingham crowd singing “Mama, I’m Comin’ Home” back to him. The farewell bill also featured performances by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Pantera, Anthrax, Halestorm and Yungblud, alongside Osbourne’s own sets.

The film was directed by Ben Wainwright-Pearce and runs for two-and-a-half hours. The cinema presentation will feature Dolby Atmos and 5.1 surround sound, two theatre sound systems that place audio around the audience.

For fans, this means a chance to hear that night as it sounded in the room. The setlist has also been unveiled alongside the trailer, Consequence reported, giving audiences the full running order before tickets go on sale.
