Wednesday will return for Season 3, with filming now finished and new faces joining the Addams family.

Netflix gave the show a renewal, meaning a formal order for another season, before Season 2 had even debuted. Cameras are now cold. Production wrapped at the end of September 2026, and the new season is not expected to screen until 2027, according to Deadline.

The shoot started in Ireland in February 2026. Netflix confirmed production was underway near Dublin, and later shared a first-look photo of Wednesday in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. That points to at least some filming in France.

Season 2 closed with cliffhangers built around the wider Addams family. The eight-episode second run left Wednesday facing unfinished business, and Season 3 picks up from there. At the centre is a long-missing relative.

Eva Green joins the cast as Aunt Ophelia. She is described as a Raven, meaning a psychic with visions like Wednesday, who was thought to be missing. The end of Season 2 revealed that Grandmama Hester Frump, played by Joanna Lumley, had been keeping Ophelia in a basement at her house.

Winona Ryder also joins Season 3 as Tabitha. Chris Sarandon will play Balthazar, Noah Taylor will play Cyrus, Oscar Morgan will play Atticus and Kennedy Moyer will play Daisy. Details of those roles are still under wraps.

Three more names board as guest stars, meaning actors appearing in a limited run rather than as series regulars. Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy and James Lance all signed for Season 3, as reported by Variety.

Familiar faces are back too. Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday, with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman continuing as Morticia and Gomez Addams. Isaac Ordonez is also listed among the returning cast. The series is created by Miles Millar and Alfred Gough, with Tim Burton directing.

For fans, this means a longer wait but a larger family story. A Paris photo. A basement secret. And an aunt with the same powers as Wednesday.
