Yung Miami has announced Watch Dis, her debut solo album. The 20-song project was detailed in a Pitchfork report published on 1 October. A debut solo album is a first full-length release under her own name, away from a group.

The count is 20. That figure covers the full tracklist planned for Watch Dis. The number comes from the same Pitchfork report.

Six guest appearances have been confirmed so far. Quavo, G Herbo, Lil Baby and Kodak Black are on the list, alongside Shenseea and Vybez Kartel, with that last spelling as given in the Pitchfork report. A feature means another artist guests on a song.

Two songs from the project have been named as singles. They are titled “2008” and “F U”. A single is a song released on its own, often ahead of an album to introduce its sound.

The announcement follows the end of City Girls. The duo have officially split to focus on solo careers, Pitchfork reported. Watch Dis is Yung Miami’s first album announcement since that split.

She has already released music on her own this year. Yung Miami put out the solo single “Spend Dat” in April, according to That Grape Juice. She then issued two separate remixes of the track, REVOLT reported in August.

One “Spend Dat” remix features Lil Baby and Kodak Black. The other features Davido, Shenseea and Vybz Kartel, spelled with a y in that report. The two remixes were released as standalone versions of the April single.

There is overlap between that remix cast and the new album cast. Lil Baby, Kodak Black and Shenseea appear on both lists. The reports do not say whether either “Spend Dat” remix will appear on Watch Dis.

Yung Miami has described the album in personal terms. She said Watch Dis speaks to doubt she faced in her career and pushes back against it, as reported by HotNewHipHop.

For fans, this means the outline is set. An album title. A 20-song length. Named guests and two singles identified. The full tracklist and release date are the next details to watch.
