Forza Horizon 6 has a reported PlayStation 5 release date of 26 January 2027, according to a leak from Dealabs leaker billbil-kun. The report, detailed by Eurogamer on 7 October 2026, points to a 2027 arrival for Sony's console. It follows months of mixed messages about when the port will appear.

The leak puts the PS5 price at £59.99 in British pounds in the UK and €69.99 in euros elsewhere in Europe. It also says there will be a physical disc version sold at retail, alongside a digital edition. Billbil-kun speculated that an official announcement could come this week with the opening of pre-orders, which let players pay in advance to secure a copy. Nothing is official yet.

Forza Horizon 6 was released on 19 May 2026, after Xbox set out its plans in January 2026. The open-world driving game, built around free exploration and races rather than closed circuits, is set in Japan. It features more than 550 real-world cars and was made available day one on Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft's subscription service where members play included titles for a monthly fee.

That January plan had included PlayStation. Xbox said at the time that the game would come to PlayStation 5 later in 2026. The new leak suggests that window has moved. A January 2027 date would place the PS5 launch about eight months after the initial release.

Talk of a slip first surfaced in late August, when The Verge's Tom Warren and IGN reported that the PS5 version would miss 2026. IGN added there was no suggestion the port had been scrapped outright. Days later, developer Playground Games pushed back on the delay claims, saying the game had not been pushed back while opening wishlisting on the PlayStation Store. Wishlisting lets players flag interest and get notified of release news.

Playground later issued a statement on X apologising for a lack of communication about the game and assuring players it was listening to feedback. The studio promised to look into changing the way it communicates with players going forward. The note did not give a new date.

For fans, this means PlayStation players may wait longer than first advertised. A late-January launch would give the game clear air after the busy holiday season. Until Xbox or Playground confirm, the 26 January date stays labelled as a leak, not an announcement.
