Homestead: The Series Season 2 premieres 3 November with weekly episodes
Homestead: The Series will return for its second season on 3 November, with eight new episodes released weekly on Thursdays.
The date was reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Season 1 is available to stream on Angel.com and the Angel app, so newcomers can catch up before the return.
The series is a sequel to the 2024 film Homestead, which starred Neal McDonough. That film was based on the Black Autumn book series by Jeff Kirkham and Jason Ross, with Ross identified as the pen name of Jayson Orvis.
Seven series regulars are back for Season 2. Bailey Chase, Dawn Olivieri, Charles Esten, Jesse Hutch, Kevin Lawson, Manny McCord and Olivia Sanabia all return. Chase plays Jeff Eriksson, Olivieri plays Jenna Ross, Hutch plays Evan Lee, Lawson plays Tick and Sanabia plays Claire Ross. Kearran Giovanni also appears as Tara Eriksson, and Jill Wagner stars.
Season 2 adds two new faces and two guest stars. Betzy Landín joins as Tanya Grossman, and Todd Terry joins as Richard Thayeas. Amaury Nolasco guest-stars as Kaye Grossman, while David “Diesel Dave” Kiley guest-stars as Dave Sparks.
Angel Studios renewed the drama for a second season in May 2025, with a plan to also finish Season 1. Angel has described Homestead as its No. 1 franchise, in a post on its Angel blog. Season 1 later continued with new episodes dropping weekly from 26 November.
For viewers, this means a straight weekly watch. One episode each Thursday, eight weeks in a row, picking up the survival story where the first run left off.
