PlayStation 5 owners will get Forza Horizon 6 on 26 January 2027, months after the game was released in May on PC and Xbox. The date confirms a delay for the PS5 version into next year. Eurogamer

The wait is short. Premium Edition owners get early access from 21 January 2027, five days before the full launch.

That edition costs £110 on PS5. The Standard Edition will start at US$69.99, according to the publisher’s support page. Forza Support

The PS5 launch lines up with new content for all players. The first paid expansion arrives on 21 January 2027 and is included with the Premium Edition. It is also included with the Premium Upgrade and will be sold separately for players who want it on its own.

Playground Games, the series developer, is making the expansion. It will introduce an all-new location to explore, alongside a free update released on the same day. Gamescom FAQ

On PS5, players get two graphics options. Quality mode runs at 30 frames per second, a measure of smoothness, at 4K resolution for sharper detail. Performance mode runs at 60 frames per second for smoother motion.

The game supports cross-platform play and cross-saves, so Xbox, PC and PS5 players can race together and carry progress between systems. User-created liveries, customised paint jobs, and tuning setups, customised car settings, also work across platforms.

Forza Horizon 6 is an open-world arcade racer set in Japan. Arcade here means accessible, pick-up-and-play driving rather than strict simulation.

For fans, this means the PS5 arrival is timed as a complete package. New PlayStation players join on the same day the first expansion lands, while existing Xbox and PC players get fresh roads at the same moment.
