Fashion month closed in Paris with famous surnames on the catwalk, in the front row and on the after-party list.

The four-city run across New York, London, Milan and Paris wrapped in the week of 9 October 2026. The clearest pattern was the number of children of actors and musicians who walked, watched and posed. The Guardian

Ella Bleu Travolta made her Paris catwalk debut for Miu Miu, the Italian fashion label. The 26-year-old daughter of John Travolta walked in the house's spring/summer 2027 show, the range designed for next year's warm season. Actor Olivia Colman also appeared in the same show. Page Six

Days earlier, Apple Martin made her own runway debut for Chloé, the French fashion house. The 22-year-old daughter of Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow walked on 1 October in an airy white dress. She shared the line-up with Kaia Gerber and Lila Moss, both established models with famous parents of their own. WWD

Other families watched from the front row, the seats reserved for guests. Nicole Kidman brought her 15-year-old daughter Faith Urban to the Chanel show. Keri Russell brought her 13-year-old daughter Willa to Louis Vuitton.

Milan had its own turn. Matteo Bocelli, 29 and son of tenor Andrea Bocelli, and Earl Cave, 26 and son of Nick and Susie Cave, attended the Vogue World event in the city. Ava Phillippe, 27 and daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, attended Vogue World: Milano 2026 at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the glass-roofed shopping arcade in the city centre.

H&M, the Swedish high-street retailer, put mothers and daughters on the catwalk together. Scarlett Teresa White, 20 and daughter of model Karen Elson, walked with her mother. Lily McMenamy, 32 and daughter of model Kristen McMenamy, did the same.

The family links carried on past fashion into film and television. Esmé Creed-Miles, daughter of Samantha Morton, plays Marianne Dashwood in the new Sense and Sensibility film. Eliot Sumner, child of Sting, plays Mr Palmer in the same film. Aran Murphy, son of Cillian Murphy, appears as Sharon Horgan's son in Youth on television. Joe Anders, son of Kate Winslet, stars in Netflix's adaptation of East of Eden, the US streaming service's version of John Steinbeck's 1952 novel.

The clothes told a simpler story. Knee-length skirts and bras worn as tops were two of the main takeaways from the month.

What makes this stand out is the scale. It was not one debut. It was debuts, joint appearances and front-row outings, night after night, across two cities and into casting for new screen roles.
