Eminem has joined Shady Records rapper Ez Mil on "Madara," a Naruto-inspired single released on Friday, Oct. 9. It is his first single of 2026. The track brings back his Slim Shady flow, Billboard reported.

The release arrived overnight, according to the Detroit News. The anime link is direct. "Madara" names and draws on Madara Uchiha, a central figure in the long-running serialised Japanese series Naruto.

The single is a four-way build. It features Japanese rapper Hideyoshi alongside Eminem and Ez Mil, with voice actor Neil Kaplan also credited. Kaplan is the English voice of Madara Uchiha in Naruto, uDiscover Music noted.

An official lyric video for "MADARA (feat. Neil Kaplan & Hideyoshi)" was posted to YouTube. The track is also available now via madaramusic.com, according to the video listing.

"Madara" is slated for Ez Mil's EP "3RD WRLD VOL. 2." Eminem is a co-producer on the EP. Ez Mil, a Philippines-born rapper signed to Shady Records, previously worked with Eminem on the 2023 track "Realest."

For listeners new to the setup, an EP, or extended play, is shorter than an album but longer than a single. A co-producer credit means Eminem helped shape the sound of the project beyond his guest verse.

The new single follows Eminem's most recent album, "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)," released in July 2024. That album topped the Billboard 200, the United States album chart, with 281,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, according to Luminate. Album-equivalent units are the measure that converts streams and track sales into album sales.

More music is dated for October. Eminem is set to appear with Kid Rock on "7 Sins" from Kid Rock's album "Halfway to Jesus," due Oct. 17. Separately, 50 Cent planned to recruit Eminem for the Street Fighter soundtrack arriving Oct. 16.
