AMC sets Salem Coven for December and closes Daryl Dixon in February

AMC packed four series into one two-hour panel at New York Comic Con. The block covered return dates for its witches and its walkers, plus first footage from two new thrillers, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

The clearest date belongs to Mayfair Witches Season 3. It is titled Salem Coven, AMC said, and it is scheduled to premiere on Dec. 30. The series will air on AMC and AMC+, according to TV Insider.

Mayfair Witches sits inside AMC's Anne Rice Universe, a linked group of programmes adapting the author's books. AMC describes this one as based on Rice's bestseller and as a dark drama following a neurosurgeon who learns she is the heir to a family of witches. Alexandra Daddario stars in Salem Coven. AMC showed a new trailer and teaser for the season during its Main Stage presentations at NYCC 2026, which the network had organised for new and returning series.

Then came Kill Jackie. The new series stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Jackie Price. It is based on Nick Harkaway's novel The Price You Pay and follows Price, a former drug queenpin hunted by seven elite assassins. AMC had scheduled the Kill Jackie panel for Friday, Oct. 9 from 3:30 to 4:00PM.

AMC also previewed Yaga. The new series is led by Carrie-Ann Moss. Details shown in the panel centred on first footage, with more to come before launch.

The farewell drew the loudest response. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 4 will be the final season, meaning no further seasons are planned, and it is set for release in February. New footage and a teaser trailer played in the room. Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, executive producer and showrunner David Zabel and chief content officer Scott M. Gimple appeared on stage to introduce it.

For viewers keeping track, the calendar is now set. Witches return in December. Daryl and Carol close their chapter in February. Two new names join the slate in between.
