Tiffany Day releases 'Meant To Be' with Glaive on sold-out Halo tour

Tiffany Day released her new single “Meant To Be” with Glaive on Oct. 13, in the middle of a sold-out headlining tour behind her album Halo.
Glaive is both her collaborator on the track and the support act on that tour, according to the interview published by Billboard. Day also confirmed on her official Instagram account that “MEANT TO BE” is out now.
Halo was released by Broke Records in April. The current run of dates is Day’s headlining tour in support of the album, and tickets are sold out.
What makes this stand out is the path of her song “American Girl”. Day said it was the worst streaming debut of her career at release. It is now her highest-streaming song on Spotify.
It flopped first. Then it found listeners slowly. That turnaround has shaped the rest of her year.
Day said she gained 50,000 new followers on TikTok after posting there for 30 days in a row. That streak brought multiple offers for a label deal. She signed with Broke Records last autumn and is managed by Sammy Seaver of Mutual Friends.
The live calendar explains why the label interest mattered. Day performed at Electric Forest in June. She opened for Illenium at Red Rocks in August and for Skrillex in Chicago in September before starting her own headlining run.
Day was born in Toronto and raised in Wichita, Kansas. She later attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles while pursuing music.
Her first wider attention came in 2017, when a video of her singing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” into a well in Italy went viral. She has since performed “AMERICAN GIRL” for Vevo DSCVR, and posts as @tiffdidwhat on Instagram.
