Lana Del Rey closes Singapore Grand Prix to 60,000 with promise to return

Lana Del Rey headlined the final night of the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix music festival on Sunday, Oct. 11, drawing about 60,000 people to the Padang Stage.
The late-night set played out in front of Singapore's City Hall. It ran for 75 minutes and covered 14 songs, Billboard reported. The race organiser had listed the performance from 22:25 to 23:55 local time on the Zone 4 Padang Stage.
She opened with "Young and Beautiful" and closed with "Summertime Sadness." The 14 songs filled the 75-minute headline set. The listed time slot gave her a 90-minute window on the Sunday programme.
Near the finale, she hinted this was not a one-off visit. "I know it's not going to be the last time we see you," she told the crowd. It was a brief remark, delivered just before the closing songs.
She described the night as "my first big, big show here." Billboard described it as her first headline spot in Singapore. Her only previous appearance in the city came in 2012, when she played an intimate performance at a Mulberry store.
That 14-year gap between the shop show and the Padang explains much of the attention around the night. Del Rey has visited China for private events. She has not staged a full-scale regional tour in Asia, which has left few chances for fans in the region to see a full-length concert set.
Her 2026 appearance was her first-ever concert at the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix, according to the event's website. The performance was listed under its 2026 entertainment programme for the Zone 4 Padang Stage. The stage billing paired her with The Killers to complete that part of the festival line-up.
That line-up was confirmed by organisers in July for the 2026 race weekend, Singapore GP announced. The Grand Prix pairs its night race with concerts across several zones. The Padang, set against City Hall, hosted the closing headline set.
For fans, this means a long wait ended with a full festival headline. No further dates were announced on the night. The takeaway was the singer's own line from the stage: this will not be the last time.
