South Park Sets Midseason Episode for Oct. 14

South Park hits the halfway point of its 29th season with an episode titled "You Like That On Your Face."
The episode airs Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It is the mid-season instalment of the current run, which is airing every other Wednesday in that 10 p.m. slot.
The logline, meaning the one-line plot summary released for the episode, reads: "When aura battles take over South America, Kyle tries to help his little brother not be cringe." That South America reference is not a trip abroad. In Season 29, the show's long-running Colorado town has been renamed to South America.
For fans, this means a Kyle-centred story. Kyle Broflovski is one of the show's four central boys, alongside Stan, Cartman and Kenny. His little brother is Ike. The release does not give further plot details.
New episodes premiere on Comedy Central first. They then stream on Paramount+, with next-day availability in the U.S., Canada and Australia, according to Paramount Press Express.
Season 29 premiered Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Comedy Central then brought the season back on Sept. 24 in the same slot. The remaining run was dated as Sept. 30, Oct. 14, Oct. 28 and Nov. 11, according to a South Park post.
The new episode arrives after another awards win. South Park has won its sixth Emmy for outstanding animated program.
