R.J. Mitte's longtime manager Ben Brucato has shared a public tribute to the Breaking Bad actor after his death at age 34.

Brucato is the chief executive and founder of BLUNT MGMT and a manager at The Green Room. A manager guides an actor's day-to-day career, from job choices to long-term planning. He worked with Mitte as his longtime representative.

He posted his tribute as an 11-slide carousel on Instagram, a single post that followers swipe through to see multiple photos and written messages. He shared it on Tuesday, Oct. 13, a day after Mitte died on Monday, Oct. 12, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. That THR report, published on Oct. 14, is the most recent account of the tribute.

In the message, Brucato said he was struggling to find words for the loss. "I am still in complete shock, absolutely devastated, and struggling to find the emotional capacity to process this loss, let alone put my feelings into words," he wrote. That language comes from the Instagram post itself, as reported by THR, rather than from a separate interview with the outlet.

Brucato described Mitte as an "instant friend" who became like family. He said they first met shortly after Mitte turned 21. Mitte was 34 when he died. The two dates point to a working relationship and friendship of more than a decade.

Mitte's publicist, the representative who speaks publicly on an actor's behalf, confirmed that Mitte took his own life, according to Reuters. Reuters first reported the death on Oct. 12. The Associated Press also reported on Oct. 13 that Mitte had died at 34.

Mitte was best known for playing Walter White Jr. in Breaking Bad, as noted by Reuters. That Reuters video report on Oct. 13 identified the role. It was his most widely recognised role on television.

He lived with cerebral palsy, a condition that affects movement, muscle tone and coordination. Both Reuters and AP noted that in their reporting. He spoke openly about that lived experience during his career.

Alongside acting, Mitte was a disability rights activist, someone who campaigns for equal access and representation for disabled people. Reuters identified that advocacy work in its Oct. 12 report on his death. The sequence of reports gives the timeline. Reuters reported the death on Oct. 12, AP followed on Oct. 13, and THR reported Brucato's tribute on Oct. 14.
