MK Knife to Return as Vargas as Disney's Worlds Collide Tour Hits the Road
Mekonnen “MK” Knife is bringing Vargas back. The actor, who plays Vargas in Disney’s Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, said he will return for the upcoming fifth Zombies film in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
The interview, published on 14 October 2026, centres on the Worlds Collide show, his favourite songs to perform, the fans and what comes next. For viewers, that next step is clear. More Vargas. More Zombies.
Right now, Knife is on the road as a cast member of Disney’s Worlds Collide tour. It is a high-energy, three-hour concert that pulls together stars from Disney’s three big musical film series, Zombies, Descendants and Camp Rock. The set mixes songs from all three franchises, with extra surprises built in.
His tourmates tell the scale of it. Knife is performing alongside Malachi Barton, Liamani Segura, Dara Reneé, Hudson Stone, Swayam Bhatia, Kiara Romero and Alexandro Byrd. Seven singers. Three songbooks. One stage.
Asked to pick his favourite numbers to perform, Knife went for a mash-up. He named “It’s On” from Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, “Like the Zombies Do” from Zombies 2 and “Chillin’ Like a Villain” from Descendants 2, blended together in the show. It is a fitting choice for a tour built on crossovers.
The tour is travelling around the United States before going global later this year. Disney Music lists the Worlds Collide Concert Tour as starting on 25 September, in a listing that bills the run as the first to feature Camp Rock alongside Descendants and ZOMBIES together, according to Disney Music.
The idea of collision is not new. Disney released “Worlds Collide,” a new franchise mash-up song made for the tour, which Kylie Cantrall, Malachi Barton and Knife discussed ahead of the opening dates, according to ABC7. Cantrall, Barton and Freya Skye also spoke about their dream set lists before the kickoff.
For fans, this means the tour is both a recap and a bridge. The old songs get a live outing with a full cast. The story continues on screen with a fifth Zombies film still to come.
