Kanye West spent about 30 minutes berating Kris Jenner and the Kardashian family for not voting for him in the 2020 US presidential election, according to longtime 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' producer Farnaz Farjam. The confrontation was filmed but never broadcast. It was cut from the final run of episodes of the E! reality series.

The argument took place at Caitlyn Jenner's house during an organised birthday celebration for Caitlyn Jenner. Farjam said West arrived with Kim Kardashian. He then turned his attention to Jenner's relatives gathered in the house. The focus was narrow. He wanted to know why they had not backed his campaign for president.

Farjam put the length at around half an hour. She described it as a sustained complaint directed at Kris Jenner and the wider family. Cameras kept rolling while it continued. The material was later removed in the finalised edit. Viewers who watched the last season saw none of it.

Executives connected to the E! show made the decision not to air the dispute. Farjam said the choice was taken at executive level rather than by the field team. No part of the birthday confrontation was included in the episodes that went out. The reasons for holding it back were not detailed in the account.

The account reached the public through a book excerpt. Details of the alleged 2020 confrontation appear in an excerpt from 'Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future', a biography of Kim Kardashian by Jonathan Van Meter. The excerpt was published by The Cut on Oct. 15. Billboard reported Farjam's remarks on the same date, citing the excerpt.

For viewers, this means a gap in the televised record. The final season presented the family's story without a heated off-script moment. What makes this stand out is the length. Thirty minutes is a large block of filmed material to leave on the cutting-room floor. Its absence left the birthday celebration looking very different on screen from how Farjam says it unfolded in the room.

Neither the family nor West has added further public comment within the reported account. The claim rests on Farjam's recollection as the show's longtime producer.
