My Chemical Romance have put out a previously unreleased song, "Someone Out There Loves You (Live From Hoboken)," on streaming on Oct. 16.

The track arrives one week before the expanded 20th anniversary edition of The Black Parade, due out on Oct. 23, where it appears as a bonus track, according to Billboard.

The accompanying video captures the band at Maxwell's in Hoboken, New Jersey, in 2007. Maxwell's was a 200-capacity club described as the band's hometown room.

The anniversary edition carries six bonus tracks in total. That includes live versions of "Dead!" and "The Sharpest Lives" from the Hoboken show, which had not been released on LP, CD or streaming to date.

It also collects the B-sides "Heaven Help Us," "Kill All Your Friends" and "My Way Home Is Through You." B-sides are songs first released alongside singles rather than on the main album.

Longtime followers will know the new song under another name. The Warner Records store notes it was long referred to by fans as "Stay," and says it was played on tour but never officially recorded before this anniversary set, according to Warner Records.

The Black Parade is the band's third record and the follow-up to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. The band's website says the anniversary collection brings together everything finished during the album's sessions in one collection for the first time, with three new pieces of art by artist James Jean revisiting the album's world.

For listeners catching up, this means one purchase now holds the album, its extra studio songs and the Hoboken live material together. The band's YouTube channel also lists the new performance as "Someone Out There Loves You (Live from Hoboken) [HD]," presented as part of the 20th anniversary deluxe edition.

The original album produced the band's biggest US chart hit so far. "Welcome to the Black Parade" peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September 2006, and remains their highest-charting single on that chart.

The release lands during the band's 2026 Black Parade Tour. The group will close the US leg with a five-night run at the Hollywood Bowl from Oct. 21 to Oct. 31.
