Days of Our Lives Casts Kyle Pryor as Marlena's Son Dominic

British actor Kyle Pryor is joining Days of Our Lives as Dominic Marino.
He will be seen for the first time on Monday, November 2. Deadline reported the casting on 20 October.
Pryor began taping the daytime serial at the end of 2025, meaning his first scenes were recorded almost 10 months before they will stream. That long lead time is standard for daytime serials, which bank episodes well ahead of release. Dominic is introduced as the son of Dr Marlena Evans. Marlena is played by Deidre Hall.
The mother-and-son connection puts the newcomer straight into one of the show's core families from his first episode. Starting with a parent on screen gives a newcomer an immediate set of relationships to play. Pryor is described as an international soap star with an extensive background in soap operas. Parade used that description in its own report on 20 October.
For viewers who have not seen his earlier work, the tag points to an actor used to the pace of serial television, where new episodes are produced continually through the year. It is a grind of fast dialogue, quick turns and continuous story. The timing links his debut to a milestone. Days of Our Lives will celebrate its 61st anniversary with two special episodes built around Dominic's arrival.
The anniversary shows will air on Friday, November 6 and Monday, November 9. That puts his first appearance on November 2 just days before the celebration begins. The anniversary will also bring back familiar performers. Thaao Penghlis returns as Tony DiMera and Leann Hunley returns as Anna DiMera.
Their names were confirmed as part of the anniversary line-up. Returns of established names are a regular part of those celebrations. Viewers in the United States can watch on Peacock, the exclusive home of Days of Our Lives. The series is produced by Corday Productions Inc. in association with Sony Pictures Television.
For fans, this means a concentrated run of new story. A first appearance, then two anniversary episodes in the same week, gives the show room to introduce Dominic and place him quickly among established characters. Three dates tell the story: November 2 for the debut, November 6 and November 9 for the party.
