Florida rapper Doechii released a new single and video called "CATWOMAN" on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, as the latest instalment of her Swamp Sessions series, according to Billboard.

The video follows "BOMBS", the previous Swamp Sessions release, which came out the week before. Billboard first reported that the series had returned on Monday, 12 October, with that single, and Doechii's official Instagram account said "BOMBS" was out now as part of the project. The account also said the series signals a renewed focus on the creative world.

The new video opens with Doechii walking through the desert in washed denim jeans, a Tap Out waistband and a white sports bra. The story then turns playful. A Catwoman version of Doechii blows up the "Swamp Princess" version of the rapper with a bazooka. Afterwards, Doechii changes into a look with an Afro hairstyle, black denim, heels and sunglasses.

The song is a nod to Doechii's 2024 track of the same name. It also includes a homage to Busta Rhymes, with a "woo-hah" ad-lib, the shout the rapper made famous in his own work.

Doechii is 28 years old and signed to TDE, the Top Dawg Entertainment label. She is a Grammy winner, and she is preparing a debut album that fans have been waiting for. Billboard has not announced a release date for that album in the reporting on this single.

Her biggest chart result in the sources reviewed for this story is "Runway", a song with Lady Gaga. It appeared on the soundtrack to The Devil Wears Prada 2 and reached No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100, the main weekly singles chart in the United States. The Hot 100 ranks songs by a mix of radio airplay, sales and streaming.

For listeners, the pattern is clear so far. Swamp Sessions has released singles one week apart, each paired with a video. "BOMBS" arrived with a self-directed visual featuring sci-fi armour, according to Hypebeast. "CATWOMAN" moves the series to the desert and to a comic-book style of storytelling.

Doechii has not said publicly how many more instalments the series will include.
