Scottish band CHVRCHES have announced All The King's Men, their first new album in six years. It arrives on January 22, 2027, through Futures Music Group, and a tour is planned to follow.

The band's previous album, Screen Violence, came out in 2021. The new record was written by Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty after a break that followed the Screen Violence tour. It has 11 indie rock songs. The band has cited Massive Attack, PJ Harvey, Nick Drake, Bert Jansch and the Incredible String Band as influences.

The lead single, "Roses", came out in September, the month before the album was announced. Songs released ahead of an album, called singles, are often used to introduce a record before the full set arrives.

The live dates are next. The tour supporting the album starts on February 13, 2027, in Philadelphia and ends on May 6 in London. It covers the United States, Canada, England, Ireland and Scotland. The band's official Ticketmaster page lists its concert dates for 2026 and 2027. Ticketing for each city is handled by the local seller, so fans should check that page for prices and on-sale times.

The band has also been posting updates. In an Instagram post dated October 16, CHVRCHES said it was planning a North American tour for 2027 and wanted to play as many dates as possible. The post was written as the weather was turning cold, with the band describing it as "creeping into winter in 2026". A separate post from October 7 said the band will return to Primavera Sound in Barcelona in 2027. That festival's 25th anniversary edition runs from June 2 to 6.

A third Instagram post, from October 19, mentioned March 5 and May 3, 2027, as possible release dates. Fans will have to wait for the band to confirm what would be released on either day.

For fans, the practical picture is simple. The album is due in January, the first shows start in Philadelphia in February, and the festival dates in Barcelona are in June. Each date depends on the band and its partners sticking to the plan.

Touring is also work for a lot of people. Road crews, sound engineers, drivers and venue staff are booked months ahead, so a tour announced this far out gives them time to plan. Ticket buyers, meanwhile, often plan travel around the dates. Those are the people this kind of announcement reaches first.
