Blippi Spin-Off Meekah Gets Her Own Series, Starting 7 November

Meekah, the Blippi spin-off, is getting a show of her own, and the first episode lands on her own YouTube channel on 7 November. Variety reported the schedule on 22 October 2026.
Moonbug Entertainment, the company that makes the preschool hits Cocomelon and Blippi, is producing the series. Lauren Vaz plays Meekah, who is described as Blippi's best friend. Lizzy Easterday, Moonbug's Senior Director of Creative, is listed among the people behind the show.
The episodes run about 15 minutes and are aimed at children aged 3 to 6. The premiere, titled Superhero Meekah Saves the City, has Meekah and the Mini Movers defeating a giant cardboard robot. The Mini Movers are a group of young children who move, dance, imagine and play alongside Meekah on selected adventures.
After the premiere, new episodes will arrive every other Saturday. That gives families a fixed rhythm to plan around, rather than a single launch week.
Meekah has a longer history than this new series. Moonbug has described her as the first spin-off character from the Blippi franchise. She started out as one of Blippi's buddies, alongside a character called Juca, before both went on to their own shows.
The series also uses what Moonbug calls its core learning principles. The company links those principles to an initiative backed by UCLA, the University of California, Los Angeles. In plain terms, the aim is for young viewers to pick up skills while they watch.
Music is part of the plan too. A Meekah music video called Happy Place is set to debut on 2 November, a few days before the series starts. Moonbug has also said it plans a second video, Bubble Pop, and a mermaid-themed episode. That episode is designed to help children practise swimming strokes and learn about ocean creatures and sustainability.
For parents of young children, the practical details are the ones to note: the channel, the 7 November start, and the Saturday pattern that follows. Each episode is short, so it fits into a morning or a car journey. The first few weeks will show how the audience responds, and Moonbug has not said how it will count viewers.
