Tom Hollander, Aja Naomi King and Beau Young Join Prime Video's Stillwater

Three more actors have joined the cast of Stillwater, the horror thriller series on Prime Video. Tom Hollander, Aja Naomi King and Beau Young are now series regulars, meaning they appear in the main cast across the whole season rather than in one or two episodes. Deadline reported the casting on 22 October 2026.
Hollander plays Judge Jack Taylor. King plays Sheriff Tanya Green, and Young plays Galen Keegan. The show's lead is Ben Hardy, who plays Daniel West, an ex-convict at the centre of the story. Variety reported in September that Hardy was set to star in the series, and the casting of the other three now fills out the rest of the main group.
The series is based on the graphic novel Stillwater by Chip Zdarsky and Ramón K Pérez, a Skybound title. A graphic novel is a comic book told at book length, usually in a single volume. Greg Berlanti and Carly Wray co-wrote the pilot, which is the first episode of a series, and they also serve as executive producers. An executive producer is a senior figure who oversees the creative direction and the budget of a show.
The season is set at eight episodes. That is a short run by the standards of many streaming dramas, which often order ten or more, and it means the full cast is in place for a complete story rather than an open-ended one.
For the people working on the show, casting is one of the first big steps once a series is moving. Each new name means more work for casting teams, costume and makeup departments, and the crews who will film on location. It also means more actors whose schedules have to fit around the shoot.
For viewers, the announcement adds three recognisable faces to a story built around a town, a judge and a sheriff. Hollander, King and Young now join Hardy as the people audiences will see from the first episode to the last.
