Tate McRae's "Housewife" Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's Global Charts

Tate McRae's "Housewife" has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, the weekly ranking of the most popular songs worldwide, and on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, which leaves out American numbers. Billboard reported the result on Oct. 26, 2026.
The figures come from Luminate, the data company that counts streams and sales for Billboard's charts. A stream is one play on a streaming service. In the Oct. 16-22 tracking week, "Housewife" recorded 55.9 million streams globally, 34.9 million of them outside the U.S. It also sold 6,000 copies worldwide.
The single and its official video arrived on Oct. 15. McRae performed the song on Oct. 18 at the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. In a Billboard fan poll, more than 51% of voters picked it as their favourite new music that week.
This is McRae's second No. 1 on each Global chart. It is also her first to debut in the top spot. Her earlier leader, "Greedy", held the Global 200 for two weeks and the Global Excl. U.S. chart for five weeks in 2023-24. In Australia, "Housewife" debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart, the country's official singles ranking, which is her first leader there.
Behind her, the chart moved quickly. Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan's "Expectations" jumped from No. 145 to No. 2 on the Global 200. Rodrigo first released the song in June on her album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. A remix adding Roan and a new video came out on Oct. 15. In the tracking week it drew 45.2 million streams worldwide, up 339%, and sold 6,000 downloads, up 626%.
Zach Bryan's "Lies", featuring Lana Del Rey, debuted at No. 5 on the Global 200. It was released on Oct. 16 on Bryan's set Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs. The song drew 27.7 million streams and sold 7,000 copies worldwide.
A2O LITE's "Neon" rose from No. 107 to No. 3 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and debuted at No. 8 on the Global 200. Billboard said it is the group's first top 10 on each chart. It drew 25.9 million streams and sold 12,000 copies.
Karol G, Judeline and rusowsky's "BbY WOW" slipped to No. 3 on the Global 200 after six weeks at No. 1 since September. On the Global Excl. U.S. chart it fell to No. 2 after the same run at the top. ADELA's "Nicole Kidman" dropped to No. 4 on the Global 200, down from a No. 2 best, and to No. 5 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, down from a No. 2 high.
McRae has also had success on the American side. She earned her first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1, the main U.S. singles ranking, in 2025 with "What I Want", a duet with Morgan Wallen.
Billboard's Global charts dated Oct. 31, 2026 will update on Billboard.com on Oct. 27. Those rankings will show whether "Housewife" holds its place at the top in the next tracking week.
