Joy Behar is back on The View. The co-host returned to the ABC daytime talk show on Tuesday, October 27, after nearly a month off, Variety reported.

Behar, who is 84, last appeared on the show on September 30. Her absence began with a shoulder injury. Her co-host Sunny Hostin first told viewers about it on the October 1 broadcast. Behar dislocated her shoulder after a fall at the studio building, a dislocation is when the joint slips out of its socket. She has said the pain was worse than childbirth.

The absence drew attention beyond the injury itself. A report claimed ABC bosses wanted to fire Behar while she was away. A source for the show refuted that report, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The View airs on weekdays at 11 a.m. Eastern on ABC, according to the network's show page. Full episodes can also be streamed on Hulu. The programme is a live talk show with a rotating line-up of guests, and the recent episodes listed on ABC's site have featured authors, actors and television hosts. The October 26 episode featured author John Grisham.

Behar's return means the panel is back to its full line-up of hosts. Viewers who tuned out during her absence can now pick the show up again on its usual weekday schedule.
