Dezeen Readers Pick 16 Design Winners for 2026 Awards

Readers of Dezeen, the design and architecture website, have chosen 16 design projects as public vote winners in the Dezeen Awards 2026, Dezeen reported on 28 October.
The public vote ran from 28 September to 16 October. Readers picked their favourites from a shortlist of 392 projects, the list of entries still in contention. The entries sit in three sectors: architecture, interiors and design. The public vote is separate from the main judging, which a panel of judges carries out.
The design winners include a range of furniture and objects. Dado Series by Allen Kaufmann Objects won furniture design of the year. Lijn Seating by Carole Baijings for Geiger took seating design of the year. The Inverted Earth: Fugue for Windows by Aya Kawabata won collectible design of the year, and Freeze Frame 82.2 by Unfold won bespoke design of the year. Bespoke means made to order for a particular client.
One design winner is a temporary festival venue. It was built from an eclectic mix of salvaged materials, including fabric.
The other sectors have already announced their results. On 26 October, Dezeen revealed 19 winners of the architecture public vote. Foster + Partners and Schemata Architects were among them. On 27 October, the site named 14 interiors winners, including a co-working space in Berlin. A co-working space is a shared office where people rent desks and rooms.
The overall winners have not been named yet. Dezeen says they will be announced on 16 November at the Dezeen Awards 2026 party, held at the Royal Opera House in London, the home of the Royal Ballet and Opera.
