Mayur More and Ashlesha Thakur to Star in AI-Driven Feature Beta Builder

Mayur More and Ashlesha Thakur will star in Beta Builder, a feature film that is the first AI-driven movie from the partnership between Abundantia Entertainment and InVideo, Deadline reported on 29 October 2026.
The film is set to be directed by Hridaye A. Nagpal, who is attached to direct. In film trade language, "attached" means the director has signed on but the project is still moving toward the set. Nagpal is also InVideo's Global Creative Lead, a role that places him inside the company that is backing the project.
The story follows Jai, a self-taught architect from Dharavi, one of Mumbai's best-known neighbourhoods. Deadline reported that principal photography, the main shoot when the bulk of the scenes are filmed, is beginning in Mumbai.
Abundantia Entertainment is producing the film through its Abundantia AiOn division. The project is described as a hybrid production. That means it combines live-action filming, with actors performing in front of cameras, with a production process driven by artificial intelligence.
The film is one part of a larger plan. Abundantia and InVideo have agreed to make a slate of five AI-powered films over three years. Deadline reported a commitment of Rs 100 crore, about $10.5 million, for the slate. A crore is ten million rupees.
Beta Builder is the first title to come out of that agreement, so the coming months will show how the production works in practice. Shooting in Mumbai is the next step on the calendar.
