GTA 6 Screenshots Hide Small Details Fans Are Only Now Spotting

GameSpot has gone through 99 high-resolution screenshots of Grand Theft Auto 6 and picked out the small things hidden in the frame. Senior video producer Jake Dekker led the analysis, and the standout find is on the money. Dollar bills visible in the images are printed as coming from the "United States of Paranoia," according to GameSpot.
Dekker's review of the frames is the kind of close reading that fans have been doing since the first trailers.
The release date is the other key fact. Rockstar Games lists Grand Theft Auto VI for release on November 19, 2026, on its official GTA VI site. The game launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, the consoles made by Sony and Microsoft. Rockstar also advertises it as "Plays Best On PlayStation 5."
The story follows two characters, Jason and Lucia. Rockstar says the action takes place in Vice City, USA, and describes the state of Leonida as home to the neon-soaked streets of that city. The publisher has a page titled "Grand Theft Auto VI, Only in Leonida" that focuses on the region.
Rockstar's screenshots page includes five images titled Leonida Keys 01 through Leonida Keys 05, plus one titled Port Gellhorn 01. Those official pictures are a good place to start for anyone who wants to check the details for themselves. The original score is by the music act Justice.
What to watch next is simple. The release date is November 19, 2026, and the game is due on the two current-generation consoles named above. Anyone curious about the hidden details can compare the GameSpot frames with the official gallery before launch day.
