Nintendo is holding a midnight launch event in London for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, its Nintendo Switch 2 remake of the 1998 Nintendo 64 classic. The event is set for the Nintendo store inside the Argos on Tottenham Court Road, ahead of the game's release on 5 November, according to Video Games Chronicle.

The shop is no stranger to Nintendo fans. The Nintendo Experience Zone has operated inside that Argos since earlier in 2026, and the midnight event builds on that space.

The headline draw is a free gift for anyone who buys the game at the event. Buyers receive a replica of the Nintendo 64 box, based on the game's UK box design. The replica comes with an inner tray and a slipcase, the sleeve that slides over a box, sized to fit the Switch 2 game. Purchasers also get an Ocarina key ring, while supplies last.

Away from the launch night, the game is listed at £58.99 on Nintendo's UK store. It is available only on Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo says the Switch 2 version includes a range of enhancements over the original, and it has shown the game in earlier Nintendo Direct presentations this year.

Launch events are not limited to the UK. Best Buy, the American electronics retailer, will host late-night openings for the game in the United States, according to its corporate site.

For fans planning to attend, the free items are limited to stock on the day.
