Ali Brunson is modelling the Championship Collection from Terez, a New York label, and the range is built around the New York Knicks' championship moment.

Brunson is the wife of Jalen Brunson. She is also the founder of The AMB Method, and she is a doctor of physical therapy. WWD interviewed her and Terez founder Zara Terez Tisch about the collection, and the conversation covered game-day dressing, meaning what fans wear to watch a game in person or on screen.

The collection is a women's apparel range in orange and blue. Its designs carry championship imagery, including the Larry O'Brien trophy, the silver cup awarded to the winner of the National Basketball Association (NBA) title. The range includes a knit sweater, a sports jacket, a T-shirt and a tank top. Pricing starts at $75.

Terez is based in New York City and was founded by Zara Terez Tisch. The brand sells officially licensed NFL, MLB and NBA gear for women and girls. "Officially licensed" means the products are made with permission from the leagues. Its girls' lines include leggings, sporty tops and matching tennis sets.

The label's link to Brunson goes back to its first big moment on the calendar. Terez presented its debut show at New York Fashion Week in September, and Brunson walked the runway. The New York Post reported that Marissa Ayers also walked the show, wearing a black varsity jacket with a Knicks logo.

Brunson's own business is in a different field. The AMB Method, her company, is described as bridging the gap between physical therapy and strength training. That places it between rehabilitation work and the gym, two areas that rarely share a catalogue.

The collection puts a sports fan's wardrobe in the same space as a fashion calendar. A licensed jersey-style item from a team store and a runway piece from a New York label now sit side by side on the same rail. For shoppers, the choice comes down to the same things it always does: the design, the fabric and the price.
