Yung Miami's Solo Debut 'Watch Dis' Opens at No. 138 on the Billboard 200

Yung Miami's debut solo album, Watch Dis, debuted at No. 138 on the Billboard 200, the weekly chart that ranks the most popular albums in the United States. Billboard reported the album's release on Oct. 23, and it came out through Uptown Records.
The rapper had announced the album on Sept. 30, according to Kiss FM Detroit, a few weeks after her song "Spend Dat" had become a bigger hit than anything she had charted before. "Spend Dat" peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100, the weekly song chart, according to a Billboard bulletin dated Aug. 13. It was her first top 20 hit on that chart.
Watch Dis features guest verses or appearances from G Herbo, Travis Scott, Bryson Tiller, Quavo, Rick Ross and Summer Walker. In an interview with Billboard News reporter Tetris Kelly, Yung Miami said the success of "Spend Dat" made her anxious as she finished the album. She also said that after "Spend Dat" she recorded "2008," "F You" and a song with Bryson Tiller.
Her long-running partnership with JT, the other half of the City Girls, came up in the interview too. Asked whether a City Girls reunion could happen, Yung Miami answered "Inshallah," an Arabic phrase meaning "God willing." She did not give a date or any details.
For the people who made the album, the chart debut is one measure of how it has landed so far. Chart positions move from week to week as sales and streams come in, so the No. 138 debut is a starting point rather than a final result.
