Ozzfest is coming back in 2027 for its 30th anniversary, with three shows in the U.K., the U.S. and Mexico, Billboard reported on Nov. 5. The festival that began as a rock and metal touring package is back on the calendar after its last edition, which took place at The Forum in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve 2018.

The first show is set for July 10 at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes, England. The second is on Sept. 11 at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California, the same venue where Ozzfest launched in 1996. The third is on Sept. 18 at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City, the first Ozzfest to be held in Mexico.

The U.S. date had already been flagged. In September, NME reported that the festival would return to the United States in 2027, its first American edition in a decade, after confirming the news on its official social media channels.

The festival's founder, Sharon Osbourne, conceived Ozzfest in 1996 after she could not book Ozzy Osbourne on Lollapalooza, the touring festival of the time. She is the festival's co-founder and will curate the lineups for the 2027 shows. No bands have been announced yet. Billboard reported that a full lineup reveal is promised in the coming months.

Live Nation, the concert promoter, is behind the 2027 shows. Early Bat tickets, which give fans first access before general sale, go on sale on Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. local time for all three dates. Prices were not part of the announcement, so buyers will need to check the ticketing listings for each city.

The return also comes with a backdrop. Ozzy Osbourne's last performance was at the Back to the Beginning concert on July 5, 2025, a show that drew the festival's original spirit back together. Ozzfest has tried new formats before. In 2022 it staged Virtual OzzFest, an online event that it presented as its entry into the metaverse, with Ozzy Osbourne, Motorhead, Megadeth, Black Label Society, Skid Row, The Raven Age and Britoff on the bill.

For fans, the most useful details are the dates and the Nov. 6 sale. Anyone planning to travel should look at the three cities now, then wait for the lineups to decide which show fits.
