The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power returns with its third season on Nov. 11, 2026, and the show has a new song to go with it. The track, "Morning Shall Come," is a tribute to the love story between Galadriel and Celeborn, according to Billboard.

The season jumps forward a few years from the events of Season 2. Morfydd Clark plays Galadriel, and Jamie Campbell Bower joins the cast this season as Celeborn. The romance between the two characters sits at the centre of the new run.

The song was written by Bear McCreary, the show's composer, together with the singer AURORA and JD Payne. McCreary has written the series' themes since its first season, and "Morning Shall Come" is the latest of his music for the show. The writers are credited on the song in Billboard's 2026 Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominations list, which published on Nov. 2, 2026. That list names the track as a nominee. The awards honour music used in film and television.

Viewers who want to hear the song before the season begins will have a chance on Nov. 6, when the official music video premieres on Amazon Music. The release is part of the series' promotion from Amazon MGM Studios, the studio behind the show. Bob Bowen is the studio's worldwide head of music.

The Rings of Power is distributed worldwide, according to the Amazon MGM Studios press site, which lists the season as an Original Series with a launch date of Nov. 11, 2026. Anyone who follows the show for its music will know McCreary's name from the opening credits. This season adds a song that centres the couple at the heart of the story.
