Trew Mullen Joins Thriller Crocodile Smile

Trew Mullen has joined the cast of Crocodile Smile, a thriller about a meticulous killer who falls for a nervous realtor, Deadline reported on 5 November 2026. The film was shooting in Florida at the time.
Mullen will play Madison, whom the trade describes as a deceptively unassuming young woman with the brutality of a seasoned serial killer. The story follows a romance that unravels into a bloody mess.
The film is written and directed by Tyler Riggs and produced by Rob Cristiano. Riggs made a short film with the same title in 2018. His website describes it as the story of a Silver Lake man who juggles murder and his social life.
Mullen has been busy on screen this year. She played the assistant to Charli XCX in The Moment, A24's mockumentary directed by Aidan Zamiri, which also stars Alexander Skarsgard. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January and later screened in the Panorama section of the Berlin International Film Festival. Deadline reports that its presales were the fastest of any limited release in A24's history, with more than 50 screenings sold out nationwide.
Her film career began earlier. She made her feature debut as Heather in Zoe Kravitz's directorial debut, Blink Twice, for Amazon MGM Studios.
She is also set to appear in two other projects. Blaise Beyhan's indie thriller Callback will star her alongside Jai Courtney, Dennis Quaid, Carla Gugino, Giovanni Ribisi, Willa Fitzgerald and Aaron Moten. She is also set for Leo Milano's comedic thriller The Lottery, with Sofia Wylie, Madison Thompson and Belmont Cameli.
Mullen is represented by Buchwald, Luber Roklin Entertainment and Bloch Law, according to the same report.
For a actor, a single role can shape the next year of work. With Crocodile Smile in production and two more projects lined up, Mullen's calendar is filling up fast.
