La Roux's fourth album, Old Flames, is released today, 6 November 2026, on Vertigo Records. It is the British singer's first album in six years, following 2020's Supervision, as Billboard reported.

The album arrives with a lead single already out. "Cabin Fever" came out in May 2026 with a music video, and ContactMusic announced the album alongside it. The song draws on pop from the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Speaking to Billboard while on tour in Australia, singer Elly Jackson named several influences built into the record. They include SWV and All Saints, both 1990s girl groups, along with Mariah Carey, the producer Rodney Jerkins and Justin Timberlake. She described the album as being about the end of a 17-year relationship, addiction, growing up at 38, and coming out.

The look of the project has its own reference points. Jackson said its visuals draw on the clothing brands LL Bean, Gap and Ralph Lauren, and on the American Pacific Northwest.

Fans of her earlier work will know how far her sound has moved. Her 2009 self-titled debut leaned on 1980s music. Her 2014 album Trouble in Paradise drew on disco from the late 1970s and early 1980s. Her 2009 single "Bulletproof" spent 27 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, the US weekly singles chart, and peaked at No. 8, according to Billboard.

Touring comes next. La Roux has announced the Old Flames tour, with dates across America, Europe and the UK, as the artist said in a post on her Facebook page. The North American leg starts in Canada. Ticketnews lists a show at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on 31 January 2027, followed by Paradise Rock Club in Boston on 2 February 2027.

Those shows are about twelve weeks away. Until then, the album is out and available to stream and buy, and the first listeners will be hearing it for the first time this week.
