Sydney electronic artist Yes Boone has signed with Warner Music Australasia through a partnership with Warner Records in the United States, the label confirmed on August 7 Billboard.

The deal was unveiled the previous evening at Warner Music's Listen Up showcase in central Sydney, where Yes Boone was presented to industry and media guests. Dan Rosen, president of Australasia at Warner Music Group, told the room that the label would "take [Yes Boone] to the world" Billboard.

The signing caps a steady climb for the artist, who was previously known as Boone. Yes Boone was shortlisted for Breakthrough Independent Artist of the Year at the 2026 AIR Awards — the 20th annual edition of the ceremony celebrating Australia's independent music community. The category, presented by PPCA, the licensing body that collects and distributes royalties for Australian recording artists, placed Yes Boone alongside finalists Folk Bitch Trio, Georgia Knight, Rageflower and Rona Billboard; The Music Network. The award ultimately went to electronic producer Ninajirachi, who won five categories on the night Billboard.

Yes Boone's single "All I Really Want" reached No. 9 on AIR's Independent Singles Chart — a sales and streaming chart tracking releases on independent Australian labels — and also charted on ARIA's Top 20 Australian Singles Chart Billboard.

The Warner Music Australasia online store already carries a dedicated Yes Boone product collection, though the store listings are undated and it is not clear when the merchandise line went live.

For a major label, signing an independent artist with proven chart traction is a familiar calculation: the artist arrives with an audience already built, and the label provides the global distribution and marketing muscle to scale it. Warner Music Australasia sits within Warner Music Group, one of the three major record companies alongside Universal and Sony.
